My Z30 is acting up, it's getting worst. It is losing contacts by day (they are in contacts list/exchange, but when a call comes in, I don't see their names, or randomly it decides to display picture/name on incoming call with no direct relation to anything, and sometimes it won't)
So, I decided to just wipe (gasp!) and install whatever is the latest 10.2 for STA-100-5 Z30 and see if that makes any difference.

I am having several other major issues, such as Android apps not responding to touch randomly, signal dropping in and out, email slowdown, and missing calls (never rings, goes to voice message), and a few other minor issues, hoping that latest 10.2 might be able to fix.

I'd like to know what is the latest 10.2 that has been released by carriers to public, and which carrier?

Well, you should be able to get YOUR carrier's OS by using BBLink and reinstalling the OS.

Otherwise, you can visit the OS Leak subforum here and check the threads or the archive thread.

My carrier does not carry Z30, so there is no way to receive any updates, it will always claim I have the latest OS.
I am on unlocked Z30 and it also says I have the latest OS through BB Link with no SIM installed.

What is the latest 10.2.1 that has been released to any carrier so I can get an actual "distribution" copy and not some random leak that has never been released to public.
For example, Sachesi points that Rogers and Bell released Update 10.2.1.3062 available for STA 100-5 (OS: 10.2.1.3442 Radio: 10.2.1.3140)
Is this the latest that we know of?

Using BBLink, I believe you don't check for UPDATE but use the RELOAD OS function. But maybe with no carrier support that will not work.

As for the most current 10.2.xxxx, sorry but I don't track carriers and subversions. The archive thread should have a link to a database of versions. I guess, look for the highest number.

I'll be using the autoloader: Z30_10.2.01.3442_STA100-1-2-3-4-5-6.7z because my contacts are acting up too. According to the Telus Forum here, it was the latest 10.2 update from them.

    https://drive.bitcasa.com/send/6tMMp...SwWl659_3vv1ag

Then I'll roll forward with the autoloader to 10.3.1154. In december I had installer 1154 and all was fine. The Telus 10.3.1 2??? update mucked up my contacts (not all LinkedIn contacts sync).

For what it's worth, I'm on AT & T, which doesn't sell Z30, I got mine from BB store online. Sta100-5. Software release 10.2.1.3062 with good wifi and no problems. Great battery life. I don't think I will update yet. What is gained doesn't seem to be worth the loss of reliable and predictable performance. Change for the sake of change is not usually positive, or so it seems to me.

Bell on OS 10.3.1.2558 now. It's working flawlessly on my STA100-5 bought unlocked from Shopblackberry. The last 10.3.1.2267 was horrible, glitches throughout the OS. But this new release has not only fixed all those glitches but performance on the phone has increased.

OS is snappier, battery life is great and overall the phone operation is much better.

    Look! It's Zedzilla 30!

I was on same build, on ATT, Z30, and that one has a lot of issues like android app problems, sluggish browser, and slow hub.
Just loaded 10.3.1 and it's all good now.

Yep, updated. See signature. Thanks, I am glad I skipped the last 10.3.1 though.
