I own a BlackBerry Z30 and I am going to give it away and buy another passport ( a black one this time... or maybe another red)

Now i have to factory reset it before I give it away.
The last time i did it... the factory reset lasted a good 2 days and in the end I had to reload the os using BlackBerry link.

Do you think trying the factory reset again is a good idea?

Autoloader for sure and make sure you sign out of Blackberry Protect before you give it away or sell it. Stay away from the reset.

A tiny bit of searching on CB forums will show you. Once you get the correct OS autoloader for your device (from Thurask's repository) it is extremely easy to do and you will be annoyed at the time you spent doing a security wipe.

Go to the bb10 leaked OS section, read how to install an autoloader

Then select the most recent Auto loader specifically for your passport, run it from your pc with your passport attached. It will ask for your device password and let it go
