Hello all! I had put 10.3 on my Z30 a while back, but when answering the phone there was a major lag, so I decided to revert to 10.2.1. However, I did this using a leaked OS I downloaded from this very forum, and now my device is not recognized when I plug it in through USB.

I have been trying to do the factory reset through BlackBerry Link, but my computer doesn't recognize my Z30 at all! Any help is appreciated!

I am running Windows 7 with the latest version of Link and I am on Rogers network. I want to go back to the original OS that was on my phone so I can get OTA updates from Rogers again.

Does it boot up and work, but it's not able to connect via USB to your PC. Or does it not boot up?

You'll have to reload the OS using another Autoloader... look in my signature, or go to BlackBerry.

It works perfectly! I just want to put on the official OS again, but it isn't recognized by my computer when I plug it in.

Perhaps I am wrong but if you download Blend it may do the trick. It installed blend plus link. Let us know if it resolves the problem for you.

try to uninstall bblink \ restart your pc
install back bblink (newest version) \ restart your pc
    insert your bb phone

let us see if your pc recognize your phone

That worked! I was able to install the factory OS from BB Link. Seems it is my laptop, may be time for a new one.

USB Drivers and ports are not the most reliable things in the world. Sometimes a tech is needed to fix problems. Sometimes USB ports do fail for good too. Always try another computer. Computer Windows OS reload can take care of flakey ports or bad driver installs. I would get off the leaks. I dont like them anymore.
