Why is it so hard to select text on this app? I want to edit the font and I either can't select anything or it's laggy as hell.

I just tried it, and long pressed a word, and then bold, it worked.

I agree that there's something a little off with moving and positioning the cursor in Evernote. I know it's native, but something about the whole UI feels off to me.

I decided to stick to Remember (linked to Evernote account), which is fantastic IMHO. About the only thing I can't do from Remember is share/email a note, which the Evernote app does allow.

I'm using the Evernote app. I added an image, saved it, and then re-opened it to add text. Once I'm in edit mode it doesn't select text without fighting me in the process.

Just a suggestion, if you're not against android apps. try loading the android version from snap.

It's way better than the native version.

I know native is better, but this has lots more functionally to it!
