Oh my heart jumped. Dropped my phone on cement. Now I have chips on the silver banding and the corner of the screen
but so lucky my screen is ok... almost had to buy a passport lol

I have seen some pics on here of people shattering their screen pretty badly. So I was extremely happy just to see a few chips on the corner. Dunno if I just got lucky on the angle or maybe the screen protector helped

Dropped my phone a couple of times. Screen still good but chin chipped and corners of back a bit hard done by. Phone is still working good like a champ!

Don't worry. It's easy to replace the screen. It's not iPhone or Samsung :-)

I've just dropped my phone on concrete floor yesterday and I wasn't as lucky as you... my screen is badly broken now.

I went to a repair shop and was quoted $230 (canadian) to replace it. I said no thanks. I went on YouTube and found a good tutorial on how to replace it. Then I went on ebay to get the replacement screen: it cost me $70 with shipping...

What impresses me is that even if my screen is totally shattered, I can still see and type!

Wow $70 bucks. That's was still quite a bit. I purchased mine from Amazon for about $45. However, good to hear you didn't have to come out of pocket $200+, so you still caught a darn good steal like the rest of us! Now your next step is a reliable case.

Yup! Good as new! The only difference was it did not have the Verizon logo like my original screen did, which is fine because my device is unlocked and I'm using a prepaid service.
But it fit my phone (STA100-3) perfectly.
