Each to their own buddy. I don't like scratched screens. Even gorilla glass scratches. Been there done that.

I just got the actual BlackBerry screen protector (a pack of two) after I dropped my Z30 face down on concrete and, even though it was in a case that had raised edges in the front so the glass doesn't touch the surface, a small pebble sticking out of the concrete put a tiny scratch on the screen.

I'm happy with these screen protectors as they're smooth and cut just right for the Z30.

This is gonna sound crazy but I still have the original screen cover on my Z30 that was on it when I took it out of the box. The little red triangle on the corner has finally fallen off bit that's about it.

I'm also still using the original screen protector that came with the phone. I peeled off the red triangle. However, the screen protector is pretty beat up and does not take scratches well.

You know you could scrape the little red triangle off quite easily with your finger. That's what I did and used that screen protector till I got my OtterBox.

Maybe it made me feel special to have the triangle still on there

Mine isn't too bad but you can see, in the right light, where my thumb always swipes up to unlock the phone. That's the only scratches I have... well "scratches" it's more like wear marks

I bought the BlackBerry OEM screen protector a week ago and it installed perfectly and so far so good. Was afraid it would dim the screen or lose sensitivity but it works great.

That's because that "screen protector" was for boxing and shipping the device. It was never intended to be a daily use screen protector, rather it was intended for you to remove it when you started using your device.

I will throw out another recommendation for Ghost Armor. Their protectors are the closest thing to real glass I have used.

I know the original screen protector wasn't meant for daily use but it sits so perfectly on the screen. I didn't want to mess around with another one. I've heard good things about Ghost Armor though. I might give it a try.
