Does it drain battery life much?

I really want to enable it on my university email account which uses Gmail instead of sync'ing every 30 minutes.

i dont think it has much battery drain at all. I have always had it turned on and never experience drain really. This is with 4 accounts too

great. just enabled it both my email accounts

That's all I use. Never set a refresh interval as mine is set to manual. Push does not drain battery.

i have 6 email accounts on my Z30 and 3 of them are all PUSH.
