I used it today...worked fine (Telus) but the second time I tried to use it today my laptop said it was connected but that there was no internet access though my phone was on the internet no problem. Not sure the issue.

I have a Z30 unlocked and on At&t network, however, I cannot use the hotspot on my phone. At&t customer support could not help. Does someone have a work around to use this feature on my phone?

I have an unlocked Z30 (STA100-5), and I use mobile hotspot on AT&T on a regular basis. I did have to add a data tethering plan to my account in order for it to work.

I was in LA for holiday last week. Bought a AT&T gophone sim with 2 gb of data. I was told hot spotting wouldn't work, but I was pleasantly surprised when it did.
