    I get a lot of what I will describe as audio distortion when streaming video through my Z30's micro HDMI port. The video appears unaffected but the audio gets distorted and starts to break up. Pressing pause and restarting the video seems to temporarily fix the problem for about 10 minutes or so however, the distortion always reoccurs.

    Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

    My GF had this with her Z10, stopped when selected "Play On HDMI" instead of just plugging the cable in .

    Where might this "play on hdmi" option be located? I have the issue very rarely but it sucks when I try to show off my phone and the audio craps out but its easy to temporarily fix just a hassle.

    Right hand side menu. Press 3 dots bottom right to show menu. Play On is at the top.

    Happens to me too but not with all media, agreed, 'play on' works just great with all media however we cannot skip though the video once started, meaning it always starts at the beginning of the video whereas with hdmi we can use the slider to fast foward ..

    Can you select this when streaming video (i.e. YouTube, Crackle, etc.) or only when playing videos directly from the video folder?

    That happens on rare occasions for me. Rebooting helps.

    This happens with me too. I haven't used the 'Play On' option. Right now I use and HDMI cord with an adapter from HDMI to Micro HDMI.. I order a 15ft HDMI to Micro HDMI to have one whole cord as opposed to having that extra adapter piece which could be causing the 'cutting out'..

    I'm not certain this is a solution that would hold up to scrutiny, but I shall just put this out there. I had this problem too, until I moved my phone away from the speakers

    Same problem here. Pause the unpause.... my audio often drops out completely when pausing for any length of time. I have to unplug then plug back in to get it back. So annoying.....

    I have this same issue. it's so random during th movie but happens all the time now with every movie. it does it with or with out play on option and I've tried different connections. any advice or actual resolution to this issue?

    Oh well haven't tried the new cable since it arrived but that may be a thing of the past when I receive the Passport (with slimport)
