    When you receive a call over being in a game, or a movie, the volume is increased automatically to max value.
    Try to set the volume at whatever position you want and put a friend to call you to see what happens...
    This is not a Z30 bug is a software bug. I've had it also at my former Z10....

    You probably use your volume keys. Now let's try something else. Go to Settings > Notifications, and change the volume there. Let us know if that worked.

    Yes, that is what you need to do at movies. Unless you enjoy being embarrassed or inconsiderate or both.

    Guys you are off topic. What is the problem with keeping volume off at movies?
    The bug I've reported is present and need to know if you've made the test I've told it in the beginning of the post.

    What OS release are you on? I'm on 10.3.0.1418 and it's really stable. I haven't seen to many issues thus far.

    I think it's fixed in 10.3. Currently running 10.3.0.1052 on Z30. Could just be I haven't had a call recently while playing a game.

    Phone on silent. Media volume off. Playing a game (any game). Incoming call received. Ringer stays off. Phone pauses game, brings up phone call screen automatically.

    When the call ends, game automatically resumes and media volume is full blast!!!
