    Did anyone tried to use Verizon's Z30 back on non-Verizon Z30? Is there part number?

    It's not the back panel of the Z30 that regulates wireless charging, it's the phone hardware.

    Isn't the back panal a hardware part?

    Does anybody know which kind of hardware i need to charge wireless?
    Is there a possibility to upgrade a non-verizon Z30?

    The Qi hardware is in/on the main board, it's not the back cover. The only reason there is a specific part number for the VZW model back cover, it to accomodate the slightly thicker assy. of the devices mainboard.
    There was a video on youtube that depicted the the induction bits from an HTC 1 (I believe), and they installed into some device (I think it was a tablet) If you do a search in youtube you might find it.

    Ordered this, going to have a go at it: Universal Qi Wireless Charging Module - 85mm Reverse MicroUSB from adafruit.

    If there isn't enough room in the back, between the case and plastic chassis, I'm going to use a case instead. This will be hard wired to leave open the USB port.

    I thought the Z30 STA100-5 also had QI charging, but was mistaken.

    Looking around for QI chargers I came across this:

    Thinking maybe there is some access panel that I can attach this QI charger to and give me the ability to wireless freedom!!

    There are adapters that basically plug into the USB port and then sandwich between the rear cover.

    Keep in mind, once installed, you can no longer use the USB port for anything else unless you remove the adapter.
