I really liked the last update on my Z10, allowing for the dark theme.
Now the problem being is the Z30,me being the proud owner of the new BlackBerry wonder,
got an update yesterday shortly after firing it up for the first time and now sadly still short of having the dark theme available. 10.2.0.210!
Q.If I resident in a country not chosen to get the Z30 in the near future, is the next update or any update connected to the local carrier?
If yes, how can I bypass this obstacle?

I'm running a Z30 from Telus Canada, on T-Mobile in the US. I'm also on 10.2.0.210, and it won't update. What I have done is order a fresh MicroSIM from Telus off of eBay. I think if I insert the Telus SIM, it might make the update available for download. I'll know when it shows up. Hoping that will do the trick.

I was a little confused by a few parts of your post, so maybe maybe you could answer some questions:

1. Is your Z30 unlocked?

2. What is your country & carrier?

3. 210 is the is Release Number. What OS version is it? If replying from your device, just type myver then a space to show it.

4. Where, meaning with which apps, is Dark Theme not available?

5. Do you have BBM Channels installed from Beta Zone? If so,do you also have the BZ app installed?

Have you tried removing the SIM card and checking via Wi-Fi in Settings under Software Updates?

After you remove the sim, you might need a device reset first. (NOT the same as a restart.)
Hold down your top button for about 30 seconds. Keep pressing it down, ignoring onscreen countdown and restart option, BB splashscreen, black screen, red LED, and BB splashscreen again. I hold down that button until I see the blue startup icon.

Any luck with that?

There is no update for the Z30 yet. Only in one carrier in France.

Either wait for official rollout or load the. 1791 leak.

Mine was updated from 10.2.0.210 to 10.2.0.415 on Rogers so there is an update available

Good info, elite1. I was also making the mistake of looking at the release number, and now see that my OS version is 10.2.0.1443. So maybe there are no further updates available for my phone. But like the OP, I don't see options to change to the black theme in my calendar.

Just FYI...

Release 10.2.0.210 = OS 10.2.0.1443
Release 10.2.0.415 = OS 10.2.0.1767
Release 10.2.0.424 = OS 10.2.0.1791

... But like the OP, I don't see options to change to the black theme in my calendar.

Here's where I have it, just to confirm you're looking in the right place.

In Calendar, swipe down from top, select Settings.
Select General in menu you see next. (Ironically, no it's not the Calendar Colors option. That means something else!)
At top of General is Calendar Settings. First option I see is called Default Calendar Theme with a dropdown bar underneath it that says Visual Theme: Light. Tapping that bar, shows me 2 options: Light or Dark.

So you don't have that?

The carrier is Pelephone.
OS version 10.2.0.1443
Software release 10.2.0.210
By the apps I mend Contacts, Calender and Messages.
no BBM Channels from Beta Zone installed

So the big newsflash is the Vodafone update 10.2.0.1803!
In other words my initial question has been answered right here.
The updates are carrier related?
I don't like leaks and prefer the official
updates ,anybody out there can give me some good news now ,please?
