I have huge problems with my CONTACTS On my awesome Z30...
So many double, triple and even more entries of the same contact...?!?

Last night I deleted Skype, disconnected accounts, restarted but still 2,735 contacts were there while I switched all off?

Any suggestions on how I can clean this up?

I linked all mine together. I don't have the quantity you have, but this was easy to do.
Just call up one contact, then press the link icon at the bottom, and then locate the next "same" or duplicated contact and save. You can link several together - I had to do 4 just for my father. Maybe that will help?

I also linked them. But after I used Gmail and put my contacts there I haven't had the problem of multiples and if I need to restore if I upgrade phone. Gmail when I put email in puts my contacts back. Just a thought.

Indeed I seem to have too many contacts to do that linking by hand.

I use Office 365 so it works the same as GMAIL...when reset all will be populated again.

I think I found the culprit though...it seems that it is Skype and somehow Skype Contacts are listed as well in my Contacts. (I cannot find where you can switch this off)
I have like 4 entries of each Skype Contact and even though I deleted Skype laat night these Contacts do not seem to dissappear...

Any ideas / suggestions?
