So I have a strange issue with my contacts,
Each one of my Skype contacts is repeated 9 times in my phone contacts list!
It's so annoying and I even don't want my Skype contacts to be shown in the phone contacts,
Is there a way to disable Skype contacts sync? or how to fix this repeated contact issue?
Skype can be a pain, with the constant notifications in the Hub, and it doesn't seem to play well with Contacts, as you've pointed out. Under the Skype settings, you can tap "Sync Contact" and choose the option "Don't share my Skype contacts with other applications". This seems to have taken care of it for me. Also, since I don't like the constant Skype notification in the Hub, I sign out whenever I'm not planning to use it.
I've tried everything (choose don't share my Skype contacts, delete all the repeated contacts and uninstalling Skype) after a restart the repeated contacts came back and I even didn't re install Skype yet!
Sign off from the app before closing the app. Tick the box which says sign in automatically in the settings menu. I think that should work.
