What is the current VPN configuration and have you checked with your provider / IT group the gateway is managed by?

    Profile Name: anything
    Server Address: 54.202.158.199
Gateway Type: Generic IKEv2 VPN Server
    Authentication Type: EAP-MSCHAPv2
    Authentication ID Type: IPv4
MSCHAPv2 EAP Identity: anything, this field does not matter
    MSCHAPv2 Username: user1
    MSCHAPv2 Password: password2
    Gateway Auth Type: PSK
    Gateway Auth ID Type: IPv4
    Gateway Preshared Key: password1

No third party apps requires as Blackberry has a VPN client, so all you need is finding a compatible VPN provider then:
1.Download their CA security certificate and drop it your BlackBerry’s ‘Certs’ folder and import it by going to:
    Security -> Certificates -> Import
2.Choose ‘Trusted Authority’ from the dropdown ‘Class’ list, make sure ‘VPN’ is ticked and click ‘Next’.
    3. Select the CA certificate you placed in the ‘Certs’ folder, and touch ‘Import’.
    4. Go to:
Settings -> Security -> VPN -> Add New
    5. Enter the settings supplied by your VPN provider. Once done, if you return to the ‘VPN’ screen you should see an icon that looks like two little green arrows. This means your VPNN is working.

    Hope it could help.

To the best of knowledge, BB10 doesn't support PPTP,L2TP and OpenVPN so the only option is Microsoft IKEv2 protocol that requires the certificated to be installed on your device, therefore there are few providers that support BB10 (like: purevpn,witopia,HMA,...).
Regarding the certificate link, it should be provided by VPN server owner upon your subscription.
The following tutorial might give you a better idea of how you can configure it on your device:

If you find one which BlackBerry will support, let us know. I do periodic searches online for free VPN services and there are some good open-source ones; but they all use OpenVPN.

I really hope BlackBerry adds OpenVPN support to its next OS update!

I found this, this is the closest yet but you still need a monthly plan.

I need mine for Netflix and other streaming sites, so let me know if you find something similar.

Hmmmm... 12vpn is not free. And the free version of vpnreactor is limited to 30 minutes at a time, with another 30 minute wait before you can reconnect. Not useful if I want to watch overseas videos.

Why do you think VPNs should be free? It costs money to run these services.

They have to pay to run the servers, software used on the servers, and all the bandwidth you are using (since it is all routed through them).

It's not that I think they *should* be free; it's that many VPN services already *are* free, and they use free & open-source software which is very secure. I use this on my PC and simply want to be able to use it on my phone as well.
