    Anyone mind shedding some light on this matter? On the bottom of notification I can no longer find emails or app.

    You need to choose the profile you are on and then set them.

    Just go to notifications when the screen pops up select normal and all your apps will be available and yes they were all shut off after the update. I hope this helps.

    The issue or problem is that BB did not make it clear (at all!) that they are menu options and that tapping "Normal" opens additional menu options. So tap it, then on the following screen tap "Customize App Notific....." They really buried it!


    The other thing they buried (and now I can't find it again!!!), is that on the Quick Settings Menu, if you tap the 'Bell Icon' next to the word NOTIFICATIONS it will toggle up to 3 options of your choice. but, again, I forget where that one gets set.

    why is an update making the device quicker (truly an improvement) accompanied by bloody rubbish such as the new notification setting feature. I can't stop the device from vibrating.
