I am quite illiterate when it comes to do something like fiddling with software update. As I am a little miffed with the current IS performance on Z30, I am going to have a go and see if it will work out well at the other end. My only concern that I would really appreciate people's help with is about restoring from back up. The only two things that I will need is the password keeper and the text messages. Can these be backed up separately and restored later. I read somewhere on the forum that restoring back up files after updating to 10.3.1 will disable many features of the new OS and significant impede performance. Your advice will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I couldn't wait either, installed 10.3.1.997 on my Q10. This will get me through till the official os drops in February!

Does anyone else have the problem occurs hearing your own microphone when on a headset? I have had this issue in previous leaks on Skype, but not during phone calls till now.

Why not go through the "blitz" or non-destructive method? Using this method, it does not remove any of the apps.

However, you should still backup your device before you commence the upgrade process just in case. A friend of mine ran into an issue and had to restore. I don't know anything about the comment on how restoring after 10.3.1 upgrade will disable many features of the new OS or degrade performance, so I can't answer that part of your question.

    Thanks Juici,
Forgive my ignorance, but do not know what these terms mean; "blitz", "mega" etc...

Don't worry too much about those terms. Blitz is just the term they coined for this non-destructive upgrade. Mega is the site that hosts the files you need. If you are not comfortable with the backup and restore process, you may not want to do this. The upgrade is pretty straight forward, but if something goes wrong and you need to restore, you need to make sure you are comfortable doing it. If you want to try and do the non-destructive upgrade, just follow the steps exactly in the following thread http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...update-978749/

Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.1154 is running really nice, no major issues at all. Been. Running for awhile. I would only go back to 10.2 to reinstall .1154

I am using 1154 since last one month. Initially, I had some eagerness to test various radios but finally, going ahead. Now, waiting for next leak. Lot of noises have been for 1949 but no leak yet?

Bit the bullet and did the Z30_10.3.1.1154_Autoloader (.exe) about a week or so ago - I'm no power-user, but I've noticed no real glitches, only improvements - compared to the released 10.2.1.xxxx

I'm using an unlocked Z30 on T-Mobile and loving it.

How do I go about doing that? I've used Sachesi before but I am no expert. I have version 1.9.4.

It works perfectly for me now that I installed the radio from .939, before that I was loosing sms, and the battery life was poor. I'm on Verizon.

Hey I'm on Verizon and did the update via Sachesi and I had no issues for about half the day and then started getting what everyone else was saying about txts. I'm no expert with Sachesi so I was wondering how you go about only loading the radio file you said to use? Is is easy/non-destructive?

Same scenario here. I used an autoloader for the 939 radio. Safe, easy, no loss of data..hopefully these links work..

I know this is different, but I'm waiting for the official release.
Jail broke my iP 3GS. Installed various ROMs on my Android. Reverted to original in each case. I'll wait, as I've only had the phone 3 weeks and still exploring.

I loaded this leak and reverted back to 10.2.1. This 115x leak has bad wifi reception and it lost wifi connection.

for all the people that disagree with me about 1154 being horrible. the battery life was horrendous, it would not recognize my sd card and my usb cable. I have to reboot my z30 in order for it to charge.

What STA do you currently own? My battery life has never been better, I also have no problem with a SanDisk ultra 32gb. Was yours larger than that?
No problem via USB it detected the device but was unable to use blend.
Kept getting the "Your version of Blend is too old problem." I was able to access files faster as well, both into internal and so memory.
Signal feels the same on tmobile as well.

Supporting the people's struggle worldwide via my STA 100-5, Z30.
