It happens a lot and it's so annoying. I get a msg or notification from Facebook, I go to click it and it goes dark for a few seconds then lights up without opening Facebook. Do i have to open the app every time to clear the notification from the phone.

To fix it I gave to restart and it will work for a bit then goes back again to going dark and doing nothing.

I found that uninstalling and reinstalling worked for me. I couldn't open any post from the hub, I would click it and it would fade out but never open the message or post just reset to hub.
I went into device manager and deleted from there then reinstall using BlackBerry World.
Hope this helps

This happened to me too I reset the hub and it worked after that. Reset the hub by swiping diagonally down from the top right corner 5 times

The side fix is to push create! Like start a message! Then cancel and you will be able to open it.

I tried the hub reset and it didn't do anything for Facebook. So I deleted and reloaded fb and it's working for now

Tried the reinstall and reboot with no luck. Trying to compose a message and then cancelling it still doesn't open Facebook from the hub. I'm on Verizon 10.2 (no update yet and I haven't installed the leak/ update). What OS version are others running having Facebook issues from the hub?I'm also having the same problems with Twitter and LinkedIn.

Lol its not a blessing when you have to open the app to clear the notification. I don't care about what the notification is for I just don't want the icon sitting there when I don't need it to

Try going into your accounts...select fb account...then turn off sync messages and save....then turn on and save.

This has been bugging me for weeks. I just did what you said and it didn't work.....until after I opened and closed the Facebook app.

Sync the account... this happened to me at the beginning so what I did was go to accounts > Facebook And turn in "sync messages"... worked for me.
