    My battery issue was resolved and now my Z30 charges at 100%, but...

    But now I'm stuck on the Essential Gestures tutorial and I can't complete it (because I can't swipe down from the top bezel).

    Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get past the tutorial screen? A battery pull brings me back to the same spot.

    WIPE? I cant wipe and I can't restore my backup because it's necessary to pass the initial tutorial...

    HEEEELP!

    Why can't you swipe down from the top? Is your phone new? Glass broken? More details would help.

    Battery wasn't charging, but now it does.
    When finally I could turn ON my Z30 and start the process, it stops on that stage....

    I would reeeeally like to know how you did a battery pull?
    As to getting past where you are, just swipe up, and close the app. Check other apps/stuff beside the one that hangs you up.
    Worse case scenario, you wipe and restore.....but something sounds off......

    That's b/c you're suppose to swipe up not down. (I think). Anyway, try swiping or more like "pulling" up and see.

    The matter is that i cant swipe down the green demo buttom from the top of the edge! Look at the attached picture with this response.
    I'm stuck on clock's swiping demo.... HELP

    Are you starting at the green icon or above it? I believe you need to swipe from the very top of the screen.

    Thanks for answers and good energy, but i'd already swipe with my fingers from all the corners and screen angles and sides! =/
    I also downgrade, upgrade the OS... And nothing happens.

    Better get BlackBerry on the phone through your carrier.... that is some weird shat you got going on there....

    Did you hold down the button on top to turn it "off"... that may reset the mess you are involved in...

    Do you know how to run an autoloader? If so, I'd recommend installing the latest 10.2.1.3xxx leaked os and see if that does it.

    Yes I do! But wich version do You recommend Me?

    I have this ones on mi PC:
    10.2.01.3253
    10.3.0.296

    Or do You suggest Me other leak or official OS?

    Start w/ 10.2.1.3253 and see if that will get you through the set up screen.

    Thanks for your cooperation and help, but stills the same situation. Z30 begins setup and in that stage, touchscreen stuck up on second swipe gesture tutorial...

    I think that the issue could be to a touchscreen sensors failure... It's like that top area doesn't recognize finger action... =/

    Hi,
    I've experienced exactly the same situation with my q5 that I've just bought. Since i don't know the previous conditions i begin to think it must be top part of the frame broken. Also tried already reloading os to the factory and autoloaders as well. Nothing seems to work. If you are successful please let me know.

    Start your swipe from the top of the frame rather than top of the screen.

    It does sound like the sensorss are either off or defective. Try swipe slow & fast. Also remember it's more of a "pulldown" than aa fast or light "swipe".

    I know this must be frustrating. Maybe someone else will chime in w/ more suggestions.

    Thanks for all your suggestions but believe me - i own three OS10 devices and never had a problem with that. That's not the matter how i do it. It also feels pretty unusual to me that just top part is not responding but i have no other explanation.

    By the way, I'm using an old Z10 and initial setup swipe movements were simply to do. Z30's issue situation described along thins post doesn't seem to be by swiping error... I'd tried many many times, from the edge, from the top, from the screen border, from everywhere...

    And nothing happens! =(

    Maybe try rotating the device a different way and swiping, could be that it thinks your device is sideways?

    If that doesn't work then try hard reset with volume rockers or installing a different OS. It is a possibility that the touch sensors got messed up.

    If you are absolutely convinced that you are properly doing the swipe, and the phone still does not work, and if you've already tried changing the firmware and still in the same situation, I could only recommend (if it is within your means), to request a change unit. It's really very strange (and never seen by me), to see that the digitizer is working perfectly in only one part of the screen, and not in its entirety. I assume, obviously, that this is a new device. Maybe I would have tried to disassemble the phone if the screen does not respond at all, but your case seems to be a defective screen instead of an assembly problem.
    If you disarm it and can not find any apparent problem, is very likely to lose the warranty. In my case, I had no guarantee possible, and it was because of that (and also because I have some experience repairing phones), i decided to disassemble my unit. But my problem was that the screen did not recognize any gesture, but suddenly, it worked perfectly.
    In my case, it was obvious that there was some problem in the assembly of my phone.

    I think the only solution for this issue is to upload an autoloader without the setup bar file...

    But how to create that Autoloader... I was unable to do it with Sachesi and others like DBB tool.
