    Give the Z30's built-in freebie a try: Meeting Recorder Lite. It records well, even phone conversations when placed on speakerphone. It's quite clear. No beeps (I'm pretty sure).

    Parrot beeps before they pick up the phone, it's just a reminder to you that it's recording. You still have to have it on speaker phone though, or it will just record you. I upgraded to the Pro version. It's also headless.
