So I keep reading that call quality isn't so hot on the z30
I mean VOLUME to be specific
What are your thoughts

I read comments like that to before my z30 and honestly I don't think it's an issue, at least not for me. Oh and the speaker phone is super loud for a phone imo not that youwould need to use it, just saying.

I have had my Z30 for about 6 weeks and love it, no issues with call quality or volume.

pre-10.2.1 got some issues with the call volume, however since 10.2.1, that problem is solved. no matter how loud the surrounding is, i can still hear the voice of the other end from the earpiece even if they speak a bit far from their mic i still can hear them talking.

Having had earpiece issues with my Z10 I was a bit concerned going to the Z30 as well. But right now I have the volume set at the lowest and it's been great so far.

Best phone quality of any device I've ever owned.

You notice that little HD icon show up on screen during calls ? ..HD quality through my ear. Literally feels like I'm standing next to the person I'm talking to.

I initially had problems but was just placing the phone in the wrong spot on my ear. Since I figured that out it has simply been fantastic. I prefer it much more than the iPhone it replaced.

I find when someone is on an iPhone then the call quality is compromised. Typical apple...toys not tools.

I'd still like it to be louder but yes you have to learn where to hold it on your ear. It's fine.

People need to remember that call quality is not always your device but many times can be due to the quality of the device of the person on the other end.
