Am due an upgrade and currently have a Z10, should I go for a Z30 or wait and see if there is a new blackberry coming out?

I'll wait to see what Mr Chen has in store for the new year. I would prefer a more metallic looking solid Z10 to rival the iPhone. But it sure is hard walking by those non functional z30 demos in the mall!

I don't share your sentiment. I can't see them tooling up for new lines while they have several million handsets in the warehouses yet to be sold. I see them focusing on one or two lines in future supported by enterprise growth and focus. That's just my opinion. If it was me, I would get the Z30 [my opinion].

I'm gonna wait for the new devices coming out in 2014 seeing as tmo doesn't carry the z30 at the moment. If they don't though I'm switching carriers.

But it's not entirely impossible to.see one by Xmas 2014 IF BlackBerry can make one more phone that is solid. No keyboard either. I'm talking specs out the ***, removable battery but better casing. Sorry but the z30 paint job looks cheap. If you're going to paint something aluminum. Make it aluminum!

I have to agree that BlackBerry needs to knock it out of the park...and yes that is really my only disappointment with the z30...they should have made it aluminium rather than painted silver.

I'm still loving my Z10 but I will go look at the Z30 after the holidays. Very curious to see what comes out in '14. Rocking with my Z10 & 64GB Playbook.
