I got to say that I have had mine I full service today and I am not impressed with the battery life:

Something looks odd here because System has used way more of the battery than the screen, that's not usually the case. System for me usually consumes 10% between charges.

How are those stats looking now that you've been conditioning the battery?

It has gotten a little better, but I am on travel now so I will want to wait until I get home to really judge it.

Highest I'll pay is 400$. They should have let T-Mobile customers get 100$ off the Z30 that would have boosted sales.


On a side note I wonder how the back feels on the all white Z30. Does it feel the same as the white back on the Z10, all hard plastic or does it feel the the black Q10, that rubber feeling? I guess I'll buy both the black and the white 1.

Is there a "black" Z30? I know there's the black weave back and silver chin, and a white one that is too much plastic.

Is there a black faced Z30? I think that would be sweet for it to be matte finish with the black leather back/flip case.

Unfortunately, no. The best you can do is get a skin for the phone to be completely blacked out.

This badn stuff is confusing. I have a Z10 Model Number STL100-3, but it seems like the only Z30 I can get from Shopblackberry is STL100-5. However I've heard people talk about a Z30 100-3 can I get that somehow? Thanks.

Sorry to bump this old thread. I just bought a z30 on Saturday (and now kicking myself for waiting so long).
It says it is in stock, I'm just worried about all the horror stories from digital river. How long do you guys think it will be before it ships? Did yours ship quickly?

It takes five days, it seems, at least to NYC. I ordered a Z30 from ShopBlackBerry / DigitalRiver late last Monday night and received shipping confirmation early Wednesday.

Tracking says it was to be delivered today, Monday, but guess what -- I just tracked it again, and it was received by my doorman on Saturday!!! I had put off responding to his notification, thinking it was a less 'important' package!

Did you do the two day shipping? I'm hoping it gets here by Thursday...I've got plans Friday night and am going out of town on Saturday morning. really want to play with it before then but this is a tight timeline for a company that has known shipping issues.

I ordered my Z30 Saturday night the 19th. Got confirmation that it shipped on Monday afternoon with expected delivery on Wednesday the 23rd.

EDIT TO ADD: And it arrived this morning, the 23rd. Proud new Z30 owner!!!

When I ordered my I knew I wasn't going to be able to get it, knowing how much of a pain in the *** FedEx is, I changed it so they will hold it for me in a local FedEx Office. Why not try the same? I think they have to get a signature

It is waiting for me at the fed ex office right now. I'm wishing I had it shipped to the office! Poor guy is probably sad and lonely at fed ex.
