It was a very hard decision for me to not to upgrade to 10.2.1 as i love native bb 10 call screen
until bb provides native call screen in a new update i am gonna remain with 10.2
pls bb gives us option to choose between call screens

Yeah, I'm with you.
I think Im gonna downgrade and stay with 10.2.0
why there is no option to choose if I want an android call screen or a BB10 call screen. Thats a huge disappointment!!

It's not thay bad. I find this one better than the old one.
And Michael Clewley has said that there will be NO OPTION for the old call screen!

Wow do you guys really dislike the new call screen that much? I actually prefer it on my Q10 but I guess it's all down to preference.

I like the look of the old call accept screen better as well. I don't think the new one goes with the overall BB10 look that has straight lines rather than curves. But at the end of the day, too many nice features in 10.2.1 to not upgrade.

everyday i had to make many calls and receive at least 50 calls a day and every time i use the call screen i thank BB for making it look so good and for its design i love it i cannot let it go

The call screen look more a blackberry feel than the old one we had, why ? look at a picture of the 9800 (just the button part, lots of blackberry look like that) and then look at your call screen.

I also loved the original call screen. It had the big hi res picture of your contact, you pulled it down to answer or flung it up and away to decline.

I do imagine that the side to side motion is better on the q. And even on the z it is hard to fling all the way up.

I just think this new one looks like the smartphone of yesterday. The original BlackBerry 10 call screen looked like the OS of the future. So modern and sleek.

You won't be getting the old calling screen back. BlackBerry won't change things for the minority. Just upgrade to 10.2.1 as there is no hope of getting the old call screen back!

In the red corner, the old call screen. In the blue corner, APK support, functional contacts, the new call screen (which, according to Clewley, is an effort to make it more like BBOS), settings dropdown, device monitor, FM...

Yeah, the old call screen is dead, same as the trackpad.
