I guess I bought the Verizon screen. Which by the way it does work on my phone except the speaker and led and stuff are missing.

I'm probably going to be screwed trying to return this screen but maybe some Verizon user might want it.

How do I get a STA100-5 screen?

Yes White Z30. The looks of your link looks like you have gotten the correct screen. The 100-5 has a lot to the back of the screen and is a white color with steel. The Vwrizon is all black.

Mine was 47-48 dollars. I will contact the seller and see what his policy is.

I just ordered the black one that you linked from Amazon. It's ok. I've owned my Z30 as a white phone for a year. Now I'll try black.

BlackBerry should have replaced it for you immediately in my opinion. After all, they broke it!

The issue is you ordered the screen only without housing.

99% of people should order screen with housing. Much easier repair than without housing.

If you want black you get a black screen and a black back cover. Want white? Get white screen with white back cover.

What the Z30 does have is the "middleframe" that holds the motherboard and battery.

Changing the screen is very easy, no house needed.

You would need new adhesive to stick it back on. I would love to have a white Verizon Z30 screen. Maybe I will get one later.

Had the same problem. I had to replace the screen on Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.2558. Bought the wrong screen evidenced by the tabs at the wrong location. Only way to get around was to get the screen only WITHOUT the metal back piece. Was a pain to install. You will need 1mm double sided tape and patience...

I need to replace the cracked screen on my sta100-5 also. This thread is confusing, and the Amazon sellers only reference sta100-2 or sta100-3. Nobody can tell me what package I need?

I got a new screen from Amazon from the same place Jose Casiano got his (see link on page one) it's for the non-Verizon phones.

I didn't ask him if he had it in white. But getting a real BlackBerry screen that was made in Mexico was more important to me than getting one from China that didn't have a BlackBerry logo on it.

So my BlackBerry Z30 is fine now. It's just black instead of white. I'm ok with that. In a way it's like having a new phone.
