    Hello,

I just got a new selfie stick that works through Bluetooth connection called "SelfTimer". I tried connecting the stick to my Z30 and it actually got connected but it doesn't take photos when pressing the camera button on the stick. I thought the stick had a problem untill I tried it on my ipad mini and finally worked. I'd like to know if there's anyway to make the stick work on BlackBerry Z30. Camera settings doesn't include this kind of option.

P.s: Stick works with all IOS and android devices as written on the pack

    Thanks

Hi there, what OS do you have running? Try the latest leak, many apps are running on there ...

Hahha.. I'm in Hong Kong right now and figured I should get myself a selfie stick to get in on this digital narcissism craze. Tried a friend's iOS/Android remote and on 10.3.1.831, it pairs but doesn't trigger the shutter. Works on both a Samsung S4 and iPhone 5 so yes, it's a Blackberry problem. I haven't tried the wired version though that supposedly work on iPhone only.

Although I'd say Blackberry has slightly more important priorities than building in a selfie-stick-remote-trigger. I can live without one. Seriously. It'll help the world with one less selfie - for god kills a kitten each time a selfie is taken.

I posted in the BlackBerry suggestions site or whatever the idea one they have, (I can make it better?) asking if we can have the ear phone mic button to trigger the camera remotely...

I had the same issue. I brought a Selfie Stick which connected to my Blackberry Z30 but did not fire the shutter on the `Remote Selfie' App.

I accessed the Bluetooth configuration settings on my Blackberry and turned on rSAP Mode.

The Bluetooth Selfie stick now works correctly.

So Do I Really Need The App"Remote Selfie" When I Turn The rSAP Mode On?
