The stiffness wears off after a few days and you're left with a nice snug fit. Been the same for all the pouch cases I've bought for my last 4 Blackberries.

Remember that the phone goes face-in. It's much harder to put it in the other way and the flap covers the headphone jack.

Try the BlackBerry Leather Pocket for Z30 instead. Due to the size of the Z30, may be it will be better to use a leather pocket without the holster in this case.

i tried both ways and it was next to impossible to pull it out without grabbing the front and back and pulling instead of the sides and sliding...

My holster for my z10 was very stiff. I played around with it and stretched it best I could and now it's good. Took a little patience and time.

I got an oversized holster rather on the large size. And I also put a rubberized case protector on my Z30 as well, it slides in and out with no problem but with it not being for a BlackBerry does not magnetically shut down the device when inserted in the holster to me no big deal but I'm sure others will frown on it. By the way does anyone know where to purchase a Z30 Screen protector in the GTA area? I have been all over with no luck.

Telus sells them. Not the greatest but will do for now.

Yep, like said above, always face in. Was designed for it that way.

This may sound obvious... but I had the same problem with the stiffness until I turned the phone around. Unlike the Z10 holster the glass faces in not out...

Super easy to get put now.

Is the size of the holster too ridiculous?

It's more or less the same size as the phone... so it's big but not bulky. It's also very well made.

Just fyi that gocellular.ca sells the holster for $29.99 and you can price match best buy so the final cost is $28.99 plus tax.

I wish it would be a little looser so you could put the screen facing out as I prefer to see the led to know if there is something to do on the phone. With the z10, you could at the expense of covering the headphone jack.

I actually have never used any of my bb phones with the screen in... always out and I am talkng as lot of bb phones. Was never an issue until the z10 and z30. Oh well...

So I went back to Telus and tried it again but put the phone face in and it fit perfectly thanks for all the help...the salesman told me to have it face out so you can see the led flashing oh well I'm happy now that I bought it :-)

Glad it's working for you. Personally I really like to see the LED light, so I would flex and stretch that case until it started to loosen up. I did this with my Z10 case and now it works great.
