Oi, yip you can, normally the replacement comes with the screen replacement, but if somebody has had to replace their screen they will probably have an extra speaker.

That phone speaker is removable from the actual screen.

[I]In the unlikely event of someone having the same problem I had with one of my Blackberry Z30 , which unexpectedly became very hot and the touch panel stopped responding , I checked in one of the photos , the problematic connectors. They are elastic connectors that obviously they made poor contact on the main microphone that is mounted on the screen. This caused sometimes the screen does not respond every time I was receiving a call. To fix , from behind the motherboard, i adhered a piece of double sided tape so that the mother did stay doing better pressure and connectors make contact properly over the display. Surely it is only a problem mounting or assembly factory , and hardly happen to any other user. Anyway , I took some photos that exhibit inside the device . I own also two other Z30 and none of them had this problem .
I'm having this issue with my Z30 (Watch video). Do You think that dissamble and do something could resolve the problem?

I *THINK* you want the more complete one, probably with the metal frame. If I recall, otherwise you will have to try removing some "glue" that holds the screen to the metal. But let's see what others have to suggest.

I have a STA100-5 as well. Here is a picture of the inside. I've taken it apart because my USB port was no longer working. Tried new cords chargers etc, it's just not getting a good connection. I bought myself a new Z30 a couple weeks ago so this is now my Guinea pig. Gonna see if I can add a wireless adapter since while messing with the port I do get a connection if not I'm saving it for parts. Anyway here's the picture. Hope it helps

I see, so on black I need to put metal from my original screen. Further digging I found that complete screen have mic etc.
Are z30 screens are from same OEM who supply BB or are there also third party in market? In latter case I would prefer to replace mic with my original one.
    Thanks

    hey guys....urgent help needed.

My z30's usb port has finally given out and i need to fix/replace it. Is there a how-to guide you can can refer me to that would walk me through opening it up and fixing/replacing the usb port? Im willing to buy the equipment, but i need to know what equipment i need to buy.....presumably a soldering kit and a set of tiny screwdrivers to open up the phone?

A youtube video would be monumentally helpful. I dont want to pay 100 bucks to get it fixed when i can get another z30 for 200.
