Hope some can help. I received a new Z30 this morning and have set it up. I am not getting the BlackBerry symbol in the top right hand corner. I have tried Settings...About.. Network..Register BlackBerry but hasn't worked. Thanks in advance.

have you activated your phone on a carrier network? Do you have carrier service?

I took the sim out of my z10 and put it in the z30. Everything was fine on the z10.

if you didn't get that phone from the carrier - first make sure it has the bands you need to use it and then call the carrier so they can add the imei to their system.

Does your Internet work at all? To get the symbol you need a data connection.
Have you tried wi-fi?

I do have a data connection which is working fine and I have tried on and off wifi

1) What country are you in?
2) Who is your carrier?
3) What is the full device model number (Settings, About, Model Number)?
4) Did you buy the phone legitimately or online? If it's been reported as stolen to BlackBerry, it won't be allowed on their network.
