    BlackBerry Link won't install-img_00000008.jpg

    Good day peeps, I downloaded blackberry link software from the official website of BlackBerry on my PC. It won't install, the above picture shows the error message, what do I do?

    I forget the solution as I had this issue a little over a year ago. Make sure you uninstall Link if you have it already installed and you're just trying to update. Then try this: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/...1/td-p/1441947

    Get the latest version from BlackBerry.

    Link is now packaged with the newest Blend software.

    I had the same error. I tried different browser but it was always the same.
    How it works for me:
    Download via your phone and transfer the file to your pc

    Download link software again. Disable antivirus during install. Run as admin or make sure user account has admin rights.

    I thank you all. As much as I appreciate the listing, I have tried all but the truth is that it didn't still install.

    Do you save the file before installing or do you just select "Open" instead of "Save" Your comment about "other browsers" leads me to believe that you do NOT save the file. Save it first, disconnect your BB, try installing. If that fails, create another user profile on your computer, restart into that profile and try installing again.

    I did saved the file. It is just a common unfortunate situation.

    I am currently downloading the software from another vendor. Once that is done and I can't seem to install - I'll use your point. All the same, thank you.

    Thanks for the insights. I totally ignored my office PC and installed the Link on my Personal laptop. Works well. Thank you and everyone else that has helped.
