Some sites aren't accessible for some reason on the blackberry browser and they are easily accessible on my friends' android devices. Could someone tell what android browser and version works fine on BlackBerry z30.

You can try Browsie Browser (native app), and change the user agent to Android.
But Opera Mini is a decent, lightweight Android browser that still has the latest security protocols.
