It seems that so many people are freaking out that the rumoured specs for the A10 don't include quad-core and 1080, like the S4 and the HTC One. But nobody is freaking out that the Moto X, another "top of the line" device has specs that are darn close to the A10, according to Mobilesyrup, Rogers Moto X training video confirms August release, will come in White and Black | MobileSyrup.com

Maybe there are features, like wireless charging, or an exceptional battery life, that normal customers care more about. I mean I admit it, I would like to have 1080 (even though I can't tell the difference between 720 and 1080 on my 17.3 inch laptop). But, maybe that's not the normal customer.

Some will say your logic isn't welcome here, but I appreciate it.

From what I've gathered, the Moto X is actually meant to be a mid-range device, and the rumoured pricing pegs it as a very cheap device - we're talking Nexus 4 cheap, if not cheaper.

If that is off contract, then Google is helping to sell it at a loss. Other smartphone companies can't sell at a lost.

The spec I am interested in .. W x H of the screen ( not including bezels) / W x H of the device. I want small in the hands but still a big screen.

I'm sorry but with damn near the same specs (supposedly) as the Z10, I just don't see how they will justify calling this a flagship when it just has a bigger screen and can do games better. This is a device that could've came out long before it actually hits. I believe most Z10 users have no reason to upgrade unless they want that bigger screen. I really hope these specs aren't official and that BB can surprise us but I'm not holding my breathe

I can honestly say that the OP is the first person I've ever seen describe the MotoX as top of the line.

But that should be known for quite some time now.

The new Moto X will not be a high-end flagship and it will have the right price for a mid-range device, maybe for a price that is actually less then what it costs to make the phone.

If that is off contract, then Google is helping to sell it at a loss. Other smartphone companies can't sell at a lost.
I doubt that it will be as cheap as 200$ without contract, but the price will be right.

It will be funny to see BlackBerry launching the A10 for 600-700$ and then seeing Motorola who can sell more or less the same phone, for half of the price.

As most have pointed out it is intended to be mid range. When people thought it was supposed to be the high end phone and those specs were rumored EVERYONE was complaining
