Sorry for the somewhat unrelated question. I'm currently with Fido and have decided to get a couple of Z30 for myself and my wife. I'm trying to figure out what's the difference between Bell's "Lite 55" and "Plus 55" plans. The Plus 55 plan has 1GB less in data, but what are its advantages or perks? I tried to contact bell but got so frustrated at waiting that I gave up.

    Thanks for your help.

Just picked mine up at a Bell store at 9:45 am EST.
$149.95 on a two year term.
I am on a corporate plan and did not need to change over Data or anything, worked as soon as the Sim was setup.
My first experience with the BB10, came from the Storm and 9860, so a bit of a learning curve, but looking sooooooo sweet at this point

    Thanks for the confirmation.

Anyone willing and brave enough to get it unlocked and try a WIND SIM?

Hmmm...I can't find the Plus 55. I see Plus 70 as the cheapest option for "Plus Plans" on Bell's Web site.

One thing that stands out from both, that I can see, is all "Plus Plans" have Mobile TV included. The "Lite Plans" you must pay extra for it.

Weird, there are 2 Plus plan on the Bell website I visit: Plus 55 and Plus 70. Maybe those plans are different from Province to Province (I'm in Manitoba): Voice and Data Plus plans from Bell Mobility | Bell Canada

You're right though, in the Lite, you get 2GB of data and no TV add-on, and on the Plus, you get the TV add-on and only 1GB of data.

I went to Bell today and asked about the Z30, and the guy there had no clue what I was talking about.

I also went to Bell and the girl didn't know they had the phone in stock...

Got 2 Z30, one for my wife and one for me. Going to set up and play with them tonight once the kid goes to bed lol! It's a beautiful piece of hardware indeed.

About the plus vs lite plans. With the plus plan, the phone is $179, with the lite plan, the phone is $379! Not quite sure how the guys at Bell set their pricing up!

Different provinces get different promotions, yes. As for the plans, Lite plans don't get you as much discount as Plus plans. 179 with a plus plan, probably like 399-499 with lite 599 with voice and 699 no term

It's like that for every smartphone with Bell & Virgin. Pretty sure Telus and Rogers has something similar too
