My Z30 is connected to my desktop computer via USB.
BlackBerry Link works fine and I close it prior to going to BB World.
Using FireFox, I bring up BlackBerry World.
I Sign In and when (as?) it registers "Displaying info for" correctly, a dialog box pops up requesting "Enter Device Password".
I have not setup a password on my Z30.
Internet Explorer doesn't show popup, but still does not connect to my Z30.
Both browsers recognize all my BB World purchased/installed apps, but clicking Install in either pops up a dialog box "A message has been sent to your BlackBerry 10 smartphone...".

Is this how BB World is meant to work (NOT) with BB 10 devices?

I could install to my previous Torch 9850 with USB connection.

What it is doing, is asking for the device password which you might be using for unlocking the device from the lock screen.

Check to see if your debugging is on in security settings.

Thank you for trying to help bhrgvr, but you do not seem to have read my post.
I wrote "I have not setup a password on my Z30".

Dialog refreshes without change if nothing entered and [OK].
[Ignore] goes back to BB world with no recognition of device.
Any entry then [OK] gives this:

A stab in the dark here. Try typing blackberry as the password.

lerxster, thanks for your idea. Neither "blackberry" nor "BlackBerry" worked. Nothing lost to have tried.

frendon3279, thanks for your idea too. Set pswd and still no go. Now, hopefully I can disable pswd, as my Z30 is not left unsupervised.

usman_hidayat19, not sure how to "add device" to my profile in BBW. I've switched BBW website back to my 9850 w/Verizon and web access (both MS IE and FireFox) fail to work with it. Something deeper may be going on here???
