[CrackBerry Question]

After the latest update to the OS was installed, the navigation feature for BB maps is no longer functional. The phone can locate me, but it is not precise like it used to be. It can find the direction and show the route through the list option but when I attempt to start navigation, the "Updating route" message appears and after a few seconds I receive the message "No GPS - your GPS location can't be found (1013)". I have clear line of sight to the sky when I attempt this.

I think the GPS on my Z30 might have issues and that is what is causing the problem, but I don't know how to check the functionality of the GPS outside of using BB maps.

If you haven't already got it download the "Blackberry Virtual Expert" (BBVE) from Blackberry World.

Under "Test Chooser" select GPS and execute.

The results should tell about the status of the GPS
