If apps are running, they're Active Frames, kind of hard to miss closing those.

A reset takes a bit longer than 10 seconds. I have been advised in the past to hold down the volume up and down buttons until I saw the blue BlackBerry software loading or boot up circle. This has worked for me flawlessly.

Do you have diagnosis feedback on? Do you have NFC on?

    Cheers.

I did the hard reset but nothing.. I will do it again later.. + my NFC is off ...

It's difficult to determine what runs a battery dry rapidly when the devices are always on and always rx tx. As well, it is a tough call to determine if the network is aggressively pulling juice from the battery due to signal strength at any given time. But, ya, try a hard reset too.

have you installed any new apps, sometimes some poor apps can have an ill effect on battery life even if they are closed. CB10 used to suck down the battery on my Z10 if it was opened once, the only way to fix it was to reboot and clear the memory of CB10.

my suggestion would be reboot the devices clear the memory and see if it continues, if so go through the resent apps installed and see if one is causing the battery drain

Try a battery pull or a wipe/restore as well through bb link.
    Battery pull? Seriously?

Hmm... this thread is making me wonder if I should just leave LTE running at all times despite the lower signal in most areas.

When I check my "app status', it shows "system" running st like 80%.
What the heck is causing this. The phone was incredible on first charge, the second charge, the battery was TERRIBLE??
I know it takes a few days to settle in, but what is causing the system to run at like 80%??

I'm glad item fixed, but for anyone else having battery drain issues, check the settings in your apps. Many of them will update themselves on a schedule. I've seen some that by default will go online and download new content as often as every 15 minutes! I either change this to "manual" checks or set it at the highest possible interval. When you're using an ap, it's easy enough to pull down from the to to initiate a refresh.

Maybe if you can update to 1791 OS Leak you may get better performance. I've never noticed any issues with this version. Great battery life for sure.
