I dropped my Z10 phone on my Bday on Nov. 17th. and I noticed the speaker wasn't working anymore. I later noticed (from the volume menu highlight) that the phone thought that the headphone jack was plugged in when it wasn't. I called my phone insurance company Asurion and opened a claim the following day. They told me I had to wait because they had no white Z10 available. I called them several days later and still no white Z10 available and they don't know when they're going to get them in. At this point I'm flipping because no one has answers. I don't mind waiting longer but give me a date of when I will have a phone at the very least. They offered me Q10 but I don't want it. They even offered me a Storm2. I was shocked with dead silence. Then they said that I simply have to wait for it. I tell them I'm calling Verizon and I'm calling the Better Business Bureau. As soon as I said that, they send me to another person. In short, I can go to the store and buy the Z30 out right and send them the receipt. Asurion will cover and send me a check for the device ($550) plus taxes, minus my ($99) deductible.

So I basically got a Z30 for $99 and kept my unlimited data with no contract extension. It looks like the Z30 will arrive today

That is awesome and all that trouble was worth it in the end. I can't believe the nerve of them to offer you a device as bad as the Storm and I would of flipped out on them also. Now if AT&T would carry it that would be even better lol

Awesome outcome, though I hope the person on the phone gave you some sort of assurance that they'd stay true to their word when you call back.
