Sorry, I'm viewing this on my laptop.

So, I placed the laptop at 5' away and the higher res pic look identical to the 720p screen at 3'.

Did you mean that the opposite? Side by side, the higher res pic has smaller text. So the higher res at 5ft is only going to look VERY SMALL compared to 720p screen at 3ft. On my monitor, I can read the 720p text to about 7ft and cannot read the higher res much past 3ft.

So for text, it seems higher resolution isn't necessarily better. For visuals, higher resolution is. Trying to remote desktop into a desktop from phone would likely benefit from 1080p, but would have to zoom in way more for any text stuff.

Just as I described in my original post! F.u to all of the haters.

This ones only difference is the bottom bar is white instead on silver.

Still not interested in buying it tho. I need a Playbook 2.. T10?
