OP, what do you think the screen size is?

If the phone is the size of the S4, the screen size should be no bigger than 4.5" given the requirements for the bezel.

If it's a 5" BB10 device, it should look much larger than the S4.

    Thanks.

It does look bigger than the S4. Looks more like a S3 tho.

It looks like the Z10 only because it has strips on the top and bottom like the Z10. The bottom strip was silver.

It's also about a 1/4 inch wider than my Z10

So is it safe to assume it's around 5"?

Would be nice if it was 5-5.5" with 1080P

Eh I don't think you can tell the difference between 1080 and 720 as a matter of fact. I said it would be different but I looked at the HTC One screen and compared it to my Z, the screen was obviously bigger, but I couldn't really tell the difference, my z with the brightness at 100% looks fantastic, i think it would transition farely well on the 4.65in, it would look even better with the size. I would prefer LCD but I guess Amoled has to be used to make a thinner phone and have great battery life. We will see when it launches.

    Z10? Why yes it is.

I can. Just like I can on a 1080P monitor vs a 720P monitor. And I am not talking about individual pixels. But rather the amount of content that fits the page and the usable real estate.

Not doing 4 gigs will be a HUGE mistake. Didn't ask him about the CPU?

I'm guessing it was well under 5" as the Z10 is only 4.2

He said that BlackBerry has a BB10 version ready to be deployed but that the executives are unsure if they should go ahead with it eventhough, in his words: "they promised they would so you think they would go ahead with it".
You're talking about the PlayBook here, right?
    Also, thanks for the insight.

Prototypes ARE out there, they have been for some time. Real devices are in the hands of a select few as well.

Just because this device is in the wild, doesnt mean we will ever see this device. After all, a year ago I played with a 10" PlayBook lol. RIM/BB makes all sorts of devices that never see the light of day.

Yes, 2GB confirmed but you never know, they could put a 4 in there. Although it seems like it used the 2GB pretty effectively.

Happy to say you're wrong there. It is being released this fall. In fact its the phone that Sprint said they will carry when they announced no Z10 but Q10 in mid summer and another new phone in the 3rd quarter.

Really? The one I held felt thinner and sleek compared to my Z10. I didn't actually hold the 2 up side by side but it sure felt slim.

It was a bit beefy. Not as thin as a S3. Compared to the Z, its a bit thicker but that could have just been the feeling that the Q10 type back cover gave me.

Personally, I like the Z10 better just because I think it's size is perfect for my hand. Although this A10 wasn't so large that I had a hard time holding it and navigating with just my one hand.

Blaze, please do tell what spec I am missing!

You miss my point. I am not saying the Aristo isn't being released, I am saying that this device may not be the end device that WILL be released. Think to the Colt device that became a developer device.

However the person I was with is in a position to know and he said it was the release phone. I won't tell you any more about how he knows for obvious reasons. However I am wondering why the OP thinks he was holding a thick phone and I defineitly felt a very slim phone in my hand.
