Yes, usually factory reset are done to avoid these kind of problems. But this one doesn't want to go away.

After a lengthy security wipe out of the phone, all applications loaded effortlessly, apart from App World stuck on the loading page and the payment options. Here is what I did so far.

1) log on computer to blackberry app world with my blackberry ID to see if there's any problem. None
2) download and run BBWorldUtility.exe (the recovery tool of Blackberry). It failed to find my phone via USB...
3) tried to find the .bar file to load it via BB10 App Manager for chrome. Just found endless threads on app piracy.
4) switch on & off, or switch off and then hold vol up + vol down for 10 sec (soft reset). No results

Any idea ? I mean, i just did a security wipe, can't believe this is happening now

While I was able to open BBW, maybe try again in an hour or so.

Could it be that I am currently in Estonia ? I heard some specific countries trigger BBW problems.

Problem being I'm not planning anytime soon to go elsewhere...

Oh please guys, bring me some piece of advice, I'm getting desperate.

I did a second factory reset, then tried the recovery tool from another computer, which successfully reinstalled BBW but the app still failed while launching, an finally tried connecting through proxy.

No progress.
What can it possibly be ?

on the blackberry supportforum, it is mentionned that BBW is not available in Estonia.

Will try a better proxy procedure
