    Is there a way of getting android apps without having to submit your credit card details? I downloaded Snap only to find out it wants my details

    I installed Snap on several devices and it's has never asked me for my credit card info, only my Google email address and PW.

    Snap shouldn't want details other than Google password.

    For ordinary apk downloads, I used this site for a couple of out of region apks:
    http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/

    Otherwise... People seem to like 1Mobile Market and Amazon Market, neither of which require credit cards, I believe. (Well, Amazon may when you create your main account?)

    I never added a card, just put in my google account credentials. if yu want to buy an app, you can go out to the store and buy a Google Play Card,go to the web based Play Store, redeem the card and purchase apps that way, then you can download in SNAP. I did this with SlingPlayer.

    The only thing Snap asks you is for your gmail. That's it!

    Where did you download Snap from and what version is it? As others mentioned, it does not currently ask for any billing information as it does not have the ability to process app purchase or billing. Not that I know of at least.
