My friend said it reminds her of the HTC. I don't think it is ugly but I like the look of my Z10 better. I like that both phones have their own distinguished looks. Size wise the Z10 is the phone for me. But BlackBerry did well with the Z30 for those who want a larger screen.

Actually I think that silver chin is beautiful. It's distinct and eye-catching. It makes it look like it's not just a generic all touchscreen phone. Then again, I think the iPhone is ugly and played out. Although, the Z30 is just not for me.

The silver chin and bezel would fit real nicely with the Porche design theme.

The z30 seems to be fairly influenced by the Porche Design limited edition.

I would have preferred some sort of dimple near the mic to help figuring out which way is up. On any device.

Nah - the white Z10 is a totally different white than the white Z30. It's almost like a creamy white, like the other "white" phones out there - whereas the white Z10 was this really sexy hot white, contrasted against the black screen - it was smokin hot.

The Z30's are very sleek and good looking phones to be sure - but nothing can hold a flame to the white or the red Z10 in terms pure sexiness. Might i add that the white "oreo" took the white hotness to the next level.

I'll take a pic of my collection and post it on CB one of these days lol.

It's the only large smart phone I've picked up that doesn't look and feel cheap. Very professional . I've seen a few with nice cases which adds even more class. If I could change one thing - get rid of the silver chin. One scratch and the silver comes off like cheap toy.

It really helps you know what end is up!! I found myself with the Z10 trying to swipe from the wrong end all the time.
With the White Z30 it looks a little nicer as the silver has a softer contrast.

I get that some people don't like the Bezel Chin and I guess that the design could have been more aesthetically pleasing. Though, I think it is a great idea because I keep picking my Z10 up and trying to use it upside down...so very often!

I thought the Z30 was ugly in pictures, but two things changed my mind: seeing it in person, and picking up my Z10 upside down all the time. I ordered a dbrand skin for my Z10 and ordered a different colour skin for the strip at the bottom just so I could stop picking it up the wrong way. In the end, this is all highly subjective but no, I do not think the Z30 is "ugly".

Lol nah u right but I did say I missed my sexy white z10. I can't go backwards so my only option would be to get a white z30 when I get bored of my black one. I missed the z10 bc of that white/black contrast. White Z10 will always have that sexy factor over white z30 imo.

I think the Z30 looks nice from the back and sides. IMO the front isn't ugly, but I wouldn't say it's the best design. It looks a little plain from the front because it looks similar to some Android phones if you take away the silver chin.

Overall I think the Z30 looks nice. At first I didn't like the silver chin, but I think the front would look very plain without it since the front is mostly all glass except for the silver chin. If BlackBerry can improve the front design and make it a 4.7 screen, then I think that's all it needs for design.

I think it was mostly designed and built with solidity and sturdiness in mind...

Anyway I find it on par to the majority of smartphones on the market from an aestethic point of view.

As for the silver frame: I find it useful to figure out the right side of the phone, as they couldn't make anything nicer than this..

It's true.
I bought Z30 to replace my Z10, initially I thought Z30 looks quite ugly in comparison. I really love my Z10. But the Z30 grows on you the moment you start using it as your daily driver.

Now, the Z30 is gorgeous. And Z10 is tiny.
