Could you please share your experience with Z30 on AT&T?

Can you get a Z30 on AT&T? I thought it was a Verizon exclusive? I guess you could buy a retail verizon one as they are most likely unlocked, or import one from Canada.

    No, You can't get Z30 from AT&T.
Right, that's my question. I know a lot of people bought one from Verizon and are now using on AT&T since VZ's version comes unlocked.
And there are also a lot of people buying from Canada, or from other online retailers and use it with AT&T.

From what I've been reading, it's possible to get AT&T LTE with a Verizon Z30 because they both use 700 MHz (please correct me if this is incorrect). As far as other devices go, STA100-5 (the version sold in Canada) looks to be the closest we can get to a fully-compatible Z30 on AT&T's network. You won't get anywhere near maximum LTE coverage because that model lacks a radio for AT&T's most widely used frequency, but it may be a worthwhile trade-off for an awesome device!

I know. Raino filled is in all on that aspect.
I just wanted to specifically if we had any fellow New Yorkers who actually made the bold move of buying a VZ or Canada Z30 and what kind of experience they have.

I bought a UK unlocked Z30 online and I am using it on AT&T in NYC.

It is very very good. The best phone I have used to date. Cellular coverage is strong.

I have Z30STA100-3/10.2.1.1055. On tmobile in nyc with NO LTE...

The same can be said for Att... the band is there but you can't get the speed idk why... all verizon opines come unlocked now.. so when you buy one just throw sim in and you are good to go

Thanks for the input everyone, are you all running any speed tests to see what kind of speeds you are getting?

I know for a fact that ATT has faster HSPA in certain areas of Queens and Brooklyn due to bad LTE.
I am on LTE device and barely see 1mbps here, and sadly ATT disabled radio selection so I can't force HSPA.

The reason I am asking for speed, even though it may not apply to everyone, we will still know what kind of mbps we may still get even without LTE, which I think is overrated in place like NYC, unless you set streaming HD videos all day. People make a big deal out of Z30 not being LTE device on ATT and all...

Also, don't forget that the Z30 has new "Paratek Antenna Technology" - in Chicago, I can, literally, get on elevators and walk up and down stairways in my office building and not lose reception at all..... you will be able to keep, make, receive calls on the Z30 in places you were not able to before, due to the new antenna...
