For battery drain issues I've reduced the number of apps that have permission to run in the background and I close apps that sit idle in my device monitor . It worked for me.

I recently did the same thing while over in Europe. I wanted a bit more control over what was running or reloading on reboot. So I went through all of the apps in MainSettings/Privacy-Security/AppPermissions and turned off too many to count!!!

The new "run when minimized" option in the app permissions is turned on for most apps after the OS update. Once that is turned off (you have to do it for each app individually) your battery life will be greatly improved.

Note: This is different than the "run in the background option".

Any of you who are suffering battery drain problems, try and delete all your Android apps and see if the problem goes away. Native droids are notorious for having worse battery life as you install more apps because they constantly monitor device usage and transmit that information to developers.

The idea to delete all android apps for the new os update seems kind of, well, not thinking thru.

I have a few Android apps on my Z30, and all was happy, happy, happy, until the OS update, which is supposed to have a better Android runtime. Going to give it a few more days, let the OS settle/index and such, and go thru the app permissions, as they can get modified during the update.

Settings /notifications/normal then turn off vibrate.

I helped a buddy out today on that very issue. I actually told him to create a new notification profile instead of messing with the original "normal" profile. You never now when that annoying all vibrate profile will be needed.

I also showed him how to add it to his quick setting.

10.3.2.2226 for me has been poor on battery and performance. My phone froze twice today for the first time ever since February (when I first started using it). Had to perform two soft reboots and now my text messages are coming in with the 1+ prefix in front of the numbers and not matching up with previous conversations within the SMS app. So odd....

Mine got much beet 2nd day after update.

First day on this version of 10.3.2 and my battery life is significantly worst then the previous version. Hardly used my phone today, off the charger at 7:30 AM and I'm down to 35%.

Normally I still have about 50%+ battery in and around this time of the day. Hopefully the OS settles down soon.
