When you tap reply on an email, it doesn't bring up the keyboard automatically. You have to tap the text area in order to start typing. This is always the case on the Z. Do you have a Q?
That is not accurate on my Z10. The second I hit reply, the screen pops up with the reply message. The cursor is in the correct spot and my keyboard opens automatically. I'm pretty sure it's been this way since I got my Z10 back in the 10.0 days.

About the reply and cursor position: it was ALWAYS this way: hit Reply, opens the email and waits for your movement. The cursor it isn't present you put it where you want to write something. If you want to add a person in email, into TO or CC? You have to.move the cursor there, huh? So it is better to be not placed from the begging into email body. The keyboard comes when you place the cursor. Logic, I think....
About Z30. The screen is horrible. About gesture and bugs I don't know be cause I didn't use it. But again, the screen is awful!. Like in Q10 also....

It is a bit faster but it's still deathly slow. And on top of that after the slow boot time you also need to wait for the Hub to prepare itself and that's like another 2 minutes.

It takes max 2 mins to boot! And my hub loads instantly! Which OS you using?

Well before 10.2.1 (the OS that real consumers are on...the official OS versions) the Hub takes extra time to load. and 2 minutes is a horribly long time to load...

The ones who dog BlackBerry and phones such as the Z30 are clearly not properly informed. They are persuaded by the illusion that there can be no good that comes from a struggling company. It's a slap in the face to the true fans. We must be dumb , right?
LOL. If loving great tech as BB10 is being dumb, then I'm proud to admit I'm officially stupid!

Never a problem with the browser.

    I love my Z10.

Yes, it is true all phones have issues. Funny no one talks about blue tooth issues on iOS 7. Many issues.this is just one little thing, yet many receivers are already OS centric and cannot objectively review anything different as they already have their "preference". Apple is great at never acknowledging issues public ally so stories don't get picked up on the news wires.

I have a Z30 and have not experienced the problems the reviewer seems to whine about. I did notice that I had to tap in the body of a message when replying to a message. Not sure what the big deal is. Software version 10.2.0.249. As for the WIFI issue I have not had any problems with it. As for the speed of booting up the Z30 really....how many times a day do you have to reboot your phone. Let's see I may have rebooted my Z30 twice in all the time I have had it. I have had my Z30 for couple of months now and have enjoyed using it. Needless to say not a big fan of the review.

Either there is a terrible confusion or there is a difference between OSs and models.
For someone who writes a lot of emails I would like to have keyboard open and cursor in body. Believe it or not it could be very annoying. It's just a personal thing.

So, those who confirm that cursor is in body on Reply, could you please report with your versions?

This review is full of inaccuracies that makes me question the credentials of the reviewer. For anyone interested in the Z30 go out and test drive the device for yourself because you are the only reviewer that matters. The Z30 is an awesome device that doesn't deserve such a review.

I am beginning to think 10.2.1 and later fixed that.
Although we can't make sure, there aren't enough replies.
vrud, smile and aha are all on 10.2.1 and they confirmed cursor is in body with KB up.
You are on 10.2.0 and you don't have cursor... Is yours the latest official release available from your carrier when you go to update?

And yep, I'm on a leaked version. I don't see any sense in waiting for Verizon.

Whenever I find a new article on BlackBerry that sounds to be bashing the company or its products, I don't waste my time reading it. I just need to read the title of the article, then go straight to the comment section to laugh my *** off from people bashing and insulting the article's author.

Why is everyone pulling their hair out over time to boot? You reboot your phone only after having some issues. In bb10 that's tally the case. Your phone should be in standby where a swipe up starts the phone instantly...or a press of the power button!!!.
