    Hey everyone

When I set my alarm clock; I turn off my phone overnight, but the alarm only activates when I manually turn on the phone. This never happened with bold 9900 and 9700 devices. I also tried downloading alarm clock apps and tested do the settings, turning off my phone. However, the results are still the same

    Any ideas?

Leave it in "bedside mode". Works great.

This phone truly turns off, do the alarm can't operate. As the other poster mentioned, use bedside mode.

Solution : don't turn off the phone. This ain't BlackBerry 7 OS.

Turing off the phone : In bb7 it went into hibernation, in bb10 it is off.

    Don't turn it off.

Use bedside mode - but don't turn it off.

Maybe I'm not understanding your perspective. What is the phone doing/not doing that you are trying to correct by turning it off?

IOW, are you trying to stop notifications? Or maybe the display? There are different ways of achieving a goal that maybe different from how we did it in BBOS.

Um I want my alarm clock to turn on with the set wake up time when my phone is off just like my 9900 and 9700 devices

OIC. Well, the 9900 didn't actually turn completely off, and this phone does, soooo...it's not really possible.

This means that the phone isn't doing anything that needs to be corrected...it's just different.
