    Given folks are now receiving their 10.3 update (yay!), are there any chances development might take off for any type of adblock Android apk port?

    This is the one and only thing I miss from rooted Android devices.

    Adblock requires hosts file editing which is locked down on bbry so viruses can't sent you to dark websites.

    The only solution is 3rd party browsers with ad block built in.

    Sorry, not much to discuss. It's by design...

    Evolution Browser has built in ad blocking.
    The ad block function works even in 10.2.

    Shame that we don't have access to the host file. Then again, this is a good security measure built in. Any recommendations for 3rd party browsers which include ad block (native or Android)?
