my apologies if this topic has been covered (i haven't seen a thread cover the same issue as i have)

i recently bought a 64gb samsung microsd card and have been trying to transfer data from my PC (Win8) to the card. it transfers just under 4GB of data and then nothing. slows right down to 0 kb/s and occasionally i get "Error 0x8007045D: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"

i've formatted the card on the z30, so file system is FAT32 (although OS 10.2.1.2102, which i have installed, is supposed to support exFAT). when i format it on the PC, the z30 doesn't support it (as it becomes exFAT)

i tried transferring the same data on to a 16gb card and it worked flawlessly. i don't think it's a faulty card, as i exchanged it and still the same issue.

    HELP!!!

Testing... Gonna have to post back tomorrow and this seems to be ona 45 min ETA. But yeah, 10.2.1 should support really large files, but it must be formated within the device of you get all sorts of issues.

You should reformat it in FAT32 on the PC and then reformat it once it is in the BB. It should then work fine with both computer and Z30...if not, then you might have a defective card.
