    Well I found the fine print under my order about the sales tax: "We are not able to calculate the applicable taxes and fees at this time. Any applicable taxes and fees will be calculated and applied when your item is shipped or picked up at the store."

    I wonder if they will really apply it. We'll see I guess!

    I thought the $50 'gift card towards the new device' was only when you traded in your old device.

    At least that's what the sticker at the VZW store I visited today said.

    Told the same thing, discount only applies to 2yr upgrades. I've been a long term customer (15yrs) and have no plans to change services but do not wish to be locked into a contract especially losing my unlimited data plan that's been grandfathered. I buy my phones outright from Verizon, you would think they could apply the discount :-(

    Just called VZ customer support and talked them into applying this coupon!!! They actually had a hard time finding it, but finally credited my account for my next billing cycle. Now I just have to wait until Wednesday for my Z30! It's killing me...

    The fine print at the bottom says something about how tax is added. Looks like folks in Californica get hosed big time. Paying taxes on money they don't even spend!!
