It's not only about hands on. The customer has to be open to it. Sadly most people are not.

That's the first question I always ask when I start to demo BlackBerry OS10, most folks seem to be open minded and I know allot of folks like myself who have grown tired of IOS.

I'm happy to report that the local Verizon store here has the Z30 on display second closest to the front door. It's encouraging. (Sacramento area)

I got the same responses with my Z10 and now with my Z30! The issue always comes back to the financial stability of BlackBerry and future support for their phones, which I reply will outlast their life with the phone by the time their upgrade comes available again.

I always catch people staring at it, especially when they watch you swipe and flick. I'm only too happy to give them more info when they ask!

certainly an issue they have is at least not keeping A COUPLE models in stock. Luckily I had the z10 and they shipped it in 3 days.

I love the z30 and everyone who looks and plays with mine have also responded with BlackBerry!!! I thought they where out of business!!!

To which I smile and say no and after I demo the intuitive features of OS10 like the Hub, Peek, Swipe and Gesturing, they have this stunned look on their face to which I reply, can your iPhone do that???

I feel like I did way back when I was the only person in my circle of friends and clients who had an iPhone. God its nice to have a cool phone again.

It's disappointing how many people think BlackBerry is not only going out of business but IS out of business. Shows the power of media propoganda.

I am so ticked that Sprint does not offer this model. Why do they hate me? Hopefully the next generation touchscreen flagship device will have a removable battery, and be compatible with the Sprint network.
The amount of attention I get for the phone is nuts especially when I start to use the speakers. Which are awesome! Already got a few people considering on getting a BlackBerry Z30 once their contract is over.

It really is a premium device. I bought one when it was released on ShopBlackberry in the USA, rocked it for a few days but had to return it this weekend because there was a tiny chip on the screen.

Since handling that device, the Z10 (which i loved so much till i handled the Z30) feels so cheap. Of course i'm getting a replacement as soon as i receive my refund forthe original purchase

It's how you introduce your phone...if you start with...."Look at the new BLACKBERRY Z30"...The name 'BlackBerry ' alone gets people all turned off because of prejudice and misinformation....Start with..."Check how superior this phone is"....then lastly....."its the new BlackBerry OS!!
You will have them.Lots of folks judge BlackBerry basing on their experiences with old legacy devices.

Come on OP we all know that its because of the salespeople in the stores trying to turn people away from Blackberry that people don't know about BB10. Nothing to do with a lack of advertising.....

I'm really getting sick and tired of these "my Z30 is greater than sliced bread" threads when only Verizon (in the US) has it. Yeah, yeah, you can activate it on T-mobile and AT&T, but no LTE plus you gotta buy one off contract.

I was going to get a Z10, but now I don't want to feel inferior........sniff......

I've noticed the same reaction from people. I wish more people knew about the new BlackBerry. I believe BlackBerry would have a larger piece of the smartphone market if more people would try out the new BlackBerry.

The phones basically sell themselves once a person is willing to give BB10 an honest try. I've noticed a lot of the criticism are from people who have never use a BB10 device, and base their criticism on the old BlackBerry. People I've shown my phone to have a positive reaction.
